NYPD Officer put into chokehold while attempting to arrest bystander in The Bronx

This incident was recorded on July, 1st 2020 on Grand Concourse and Morris Avenue in The Bronx NYC. As the cops are struggling to apprehend a suspect one of the officers pushes heckling bystanders. According to the official statement by NYPD, the man was then grabbed by the officer for kicking a body camera that fell off one of the officers in scuffle down the street. (which cannot be seen in the footage) Advocates for the NYPD are furious to see a maneuver that will (chokehold) land cops in jail used on an officer in this video.
