Nicki Daniels Jr. and the Sleep Is For The Rich Gun Club showed up to the Caddo Parrish Courthouse on June 27, 2020 after Confederate sympathizers attempted to intimidate protesters demanding a Confederate Monument be taken down. The counter-protesters armed with handguns and rifles showed up Daniels felt the need to show up to protect Black Women, children, and unarmed Black Men practicing their constitutional rights.

Daniels went on to ask "Why are we still having to come out here to fight over a monument that, for people that fought against our country?" (Confederate States succession from Union)"Y'all don't understand the hypocrisy in that? and then you want to ask why we're out here protecting these people? it's about good versus evil- that's why."
